1. Activities, Scheduling & Participation

How are Clubhouse activities offered?
All Aspire Clubhouse activities are delivered online and are offered as structured, small-group activity sets (typically six sessions), designed to support consistency, confidence, and meaningful engagement over time.
Activities may include:
- Introductory or preview sessions (where offered)
- Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly scheduled programs
- Quarterly or seasonal special events
During planning for the 2026 timetable, activities may be scheduled on:
- Set days (e.g. Wednesdays and/or Saturdays)
- Set times of day (e.g. late morning, afternoon, or evening sessions)
Final days and times will be confirmed with the release of Program 1 (Pilot / Founding Series), based on Member feedback.
What are some examples of Aspire Clubhouse online activities?
Aspire Clubhouse activities are designed around shared Member goals and interests, with a quarterly timetable shaped by a Member voting system. Activities fall into four main categories:
- Education and Skill-Building: Cooking, coding with Scratch, communication and daily living skills.
- Employment and Community Participation: Self-employment such as starting your own or a family based business, microenterprises & family ventures (potentially tailored to a special interest).
- Health and Wellbeing: Movement such as dance and gentle exercise, mindfulness, sensory art, and projects such as crafts, miniature gardening.
- Social and Recreational Participation: Drama, virtual touring (e.g., historical or travel), and activities focused on specialty interests like anime, gaming, pet care or special online events.

Are sessions capped?
Yes. Participant limits help ensure every session remains supportive and personalised.
If a session becomes high-demand, we may:
- Add extra sessions
- Offer the activity on multiple days
- Increase availability where possible

How does Aspire Clubhouse decide activity days and times?
We use co-design principles. Members provide input on:
- Preferred times
- Days of the week
- Activity types
- Frequency
The timetable evolves in response to Member feedback, ensuring sessions work for as many people as possible.
When will Aspire Clubhouse's programs be offered during 2026?
Subject to membership feedback, the proposed dates during which Aspire Clubhouse's core programs will be offered during the following dates in 2026:
Program 1: 27 July to 4 September 2026
Program 2: 26 October to 4 December 2026
In addition to the core programs, introductory sessions, special events, and holiday programs may be offered, subject to membership demand.
Will more activity days or times be added?
Yes. If Members request additional options: such as more frequent sessions or alternative times. Aspire Clubhouse will expand the timetable.

What are my options for participating in Clubhouse activities?
Aspire Clubhouse activities are delivered as structured program sets rather than casual or drop-in sessions.
This structure supports people to get to know each other, build trust, and feel more at ease across sessions.
Each activity runs as a small-group set of sessions (typically six weeks), designed to support consistency, confidence-building, and meaningful engagement over time.
We encourage regular participation across a full activity set, as this allows members to build familiarity, trust, and genuine connections with others in the group. These connections are an important part of the Aspire Clubhouse experience and are difficult to achieve through irregular or drop-in participation.
If you’re unsure where to start, your free Meet & Greet is the best place to explore options and choose an activity that suits your interests.

Can I change activities after I’ve started?
Where possible, we aim to be flexible. If you find an activity isn’t the right fit, you’re welcome to discuss options with us, and we’ll do our best to support a suitable transition depending on availability and timing.
Will online sessions be recorded?
For quality assurance and safety, online sessions may be recorded by Aspire Clubhouse. Recordings help us:
- Ensure the session runs smoothly and in a supportive environment
- Confirm that only registered participants and their nominated adults are present
- Support staff training and continuous improvement

Disruptions beyond our control
In the event of technical issues or uncontrollable disruptions on our part, we will make every effort to provide alternative arrangements.
Further details are provided within the Member Portal. Alternatively, please feel free to contact us on email:
enquiries@aspireclubhouse.com.au, or use the Contact Aspire form.
4. Support, Wellbeing & Trauma-Informed Practices
What if I feel anxious about joining?
You have three supportive options:
1. Bring a Support Person
A family member or support person may attend sessions for free to assist and support you.
Please Note: The nominated adult participates in a supporting role. Therefore your Support Person or Carer must be physically present at your location and not joining from a separate or remote location. We reserve the right to withdraw free attendance for your nominated adult if this option is not used as intended.
2. Consider Strategies for Dealing with Anxiety
Check out the strategies available to Members through the Member Portal.
3. One-to-One Consultation
If group sessions feel overwhelming, you can begin with a private 1:1 session.
Aspire Clubhouse's Program Manager will help you ease into group programs when you feel ready.
What are trauma-informed practices, and how are they used?
A trauma-informed approach creates safe, predictable and supportive learning environments. At Aspire Clubhouse, this includes:
- Structured, consistent routines
- Step-by-step instructions
- Activities broken into manageable segments
- Strategies for emotional regulation
- An emphasis on resilience, confidence and choice
This approach benefits all Members, including those who may have experienced trauma.

Is my Carer or Support Person able to participate in the sessions with me?
Yes, your Carer or Support Person is welcome to participate in sessions, but they must be nominated by you and directly support you during the activity, please note: no exceptions. For this reason, your Support Person or Carer must be physically present at your location and not joining from a separate or remote location.

Can I access free advice or resources?
Yes. Every Member has access to available resources on the Member Portal as well as receives a FREE quarterly newsletter featuring:
- Practical tips
- Wellbeing strategies
- Resource links
- Updates on activities and events

Is personalised one-to-one advice included in membership?
No. One-to-one consultations are a separate paid service, offered at a discounted rate for Members.
5. Membership Eligibility & Application Process

Are all membership applications automatically accepted?
No. Applications are assessed against the Membership Terms & Conditions.
Membership is open to adults on the autism spectrum aged 18+ years.
Aspire Clubhouse reserves the right to defer an Application for Membership if it is decided that the potential Member's goals and interests would not be met by the Clubhouse within a reasonable period of time.

Do I need a formal autism diagnosis to join?
No.
The Clubhouse does not require proof of diagnosis. We welcome adults who identify as on the autism spectrum, who are exploring whether autism fits, or who benefit from autism-informed approaches and structured, strengths-based programs.
Some adults identify as on the autism spectrum or neurodivergent without formal assessment, and we respect self-identification.
Many adults on the autism spectrum also have ADHD or other co-occurring neurodevelopmental differences. Our programs are designed using autism-informed learning styles and structured approaches that support clarity, focus, executive functioning and practical skill development.
The Clubhouse is autism-centred. If the environment and approach feel like a good fit for you, you are welcome to apply.
Inclusion, for us, means there is no single 'right way' to participate; people can engage in ways that suit their communication style, energy levels and support needs.

For safety and good practice, all Aspire Clubhouse employees hold a WWCC (Professional).

No. Aspire Clubhouse is not a registered NDIS provider.
However, Members who self-manage or plan-manage their NDIS funding can access activities and services from unregistered providers like Aspire Clubhouse.
